I’ve been following @ruthakers for about a week, and two nights ago she posted this. When I read it I pictured a girl hanging out with her friends at a bar when Cotton Eyed Joe comes on, and all of a sudden everything is very serious, and she goes out onto the dance floor — all alone — and clears a bunch of room for herself and then she dances like it’s the end of a film. I think I might have totally misunderstood the tweet. I don’t even know at this point. But it’s one of the best images ever. It’s days later and I am still laughing. I think it broke my brain.
